My name is Katlin, but you can call me Kate. Welcome to my little corner of the blogosphere! Although I have lived in California my entire life, I feel like I belong in colder climates. When I'm not making jams, painting, eating tons of dark chocolate and watching movies like Pride and Prejudice and The Holiday over and over again, I am working diligently on schoolwork or slinging smoothies part-time. I am a full-time student at a California State University where I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Gender and Sexuality studies; I am also a Team Lead and Community Coordinator for Jamba Juice.
I am engaged to my soul mate, John. We have known each other since 2004 (we met in 9th grade geography). We are the proud parents to two furry babies: Kat Lassie, an angsty orange tabby, and Bunny, a hyperactive Staffordshire Terrier puppy. We are in the midst of remodeling our home and preparing for our upcoming wedding (March 2013!), so we're pretty busy most of the time.
